Nokia Siemens Networks has announced plans to start deployment of  Telefónica  O2’s pilot LTE network in Halle (East Germany) in September 2010 .

GSA (Global mobile Suppliers Association) confirms that 111 manufacturers have announced 1,064 LTE-enabled user devices world-wide, including frequency and carrier variants. Since July 2012, 647 new LTE user devices have been announced. During same period, number of manufacturers is increased by 66%.

UK’s operator EE has one million LTE customers now. EE has achieved its goal of signing up one million 4G customers by the end of the year, four months sooner than expected.

April 28, 2010 - NEC Corporation announced today its selection as the development and manufacturing vendor for NTT DOCOMO, INC's 1.5GHz remote radio equipment (RRE) for LTE base stations.

Sprint's 4G LTE network build is progressing in more than 20 additional cities within its nationwide 3G footprint. Operator plans to announce commercial availability 4G LTE in these cities in the coming months, followed by continued enhancements in coverage, performance and reliability.

T-Mobile Czech Republic plans to cover 93 percent of the population and 80% of the territory with 3G and LTE networks by the end of the year. Operator's LTE network operator will cover 51% of the population and 73% of the area by end of 2014.
