Sprint has announced launch of its LTE services in Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City and San Antonio on July 15. Sprint plans to add more markets in 2012 that will announced later this year. By the end of 2013, Sprint expects to have largely completed the build out of its all new 4G LTE nationwide network.

TELUS has announced new plans to invest $3 billion in advanced technology and new facilities over the next three years in British Columbia. Operator has already invested more than $26 billion in technology and operations in the province since 2000. 

By the end of 2010 while up to 20 LTE networks are expected to be live, but LTE will only make up 11% of installed base stations by the end of 2015, according to a ABI Research report.

Telefonica's O2 (UK) Ltd. has acquired a trial license from UK regulator Office of Communications to test LTE in the 800MHz frequency band according to a Light Reading report.
