At the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Nokia and AT&T have introduced Nokia Lumia 900, the first of Nokia's Windows Phone with LTE connectivity.

Mobile service provider Beeline Uzbekistan has started commercial LTE services in the country. Operator's 4G network currently covers the central areas of Tashkent, and the company plans to further expand the LTE coverage in the capital in 2015. 

Peoples Telephone Cooperative, a NetAmerica Alliance Member, has begun offering 4G LTE data service in rural Texas. Peoples replaced its fixed wireless WiMax offering with LTE running on their 700MHz license.

Canada's communications company Bell has increased 4G LTE network speeds up to 45%. According to Bell, LTE download speeds have increased from 75 Megabits per second (expected average 12-25 Mbps) to 110 Mbps (14-36 Mbps), with speed as high as 150 Mbps (18-40 Mbps) available in some locations.

NEC has launched  a ultra-high capacity backhaul solution "ePASOLINK".

SK Telecom has announced two-way handover that supports both FDD LTE and TDD LTE in one device. Operator, together with Ericsson and Altair Semiconductor, demonstrated handover in between two different duplex modes of the LTE technology standard in a moving vehicle environment.

SK Telecom has announced plans to build additional 1.8GHz base stations to secure nationwide coverage for its LTE and LTE-Advanced networks by the end of this year. Operator has already built a nationwide LTE network using 10MHz in the 800MHz frequency band in April, 2012.
